Thanksgiving Day: Part One

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. We have so much to be thankful for--we need a whole week to celebrate!

On Thanksgiving Day we went to my sister's house for lunch. All the kids had a blast playing together and the adults enjoyed eating and laughing. My sister gave us much to be entertained by. Don't expect a cookbook written by her anytime soon. Let's just hope that she cooks the cornbread before putting it in the dressing next year!! :) AND, if you have any questions on cleaning and cooking a turkey--just call her...she is an expert now.

Even with all that, the food was delicious! (Thanks to Mrs. Hart for her emergency dressing after the original was slightly botched!) Plus, Sister's house looks awesome. It's her first holiday in her new home and she already has a Christmas tree up in almost EVERY room. Talk about overachiever!

I am loving these video montages and music. You are getting to be a pro at this blog! Wish we could have all been together for the holiday...seeing the pictures makes me homesick!

Forgot to add that I laughed so hard when Robin told me about Christy and the cornmeal!! Everyone will talk about that for years to come at ALL of the family gatherings!
